Cubic Earth
Plunging into an ever-evolving landscape, Cubic Earth explores the fascinating tension between structure and mutation. Inspired by a modified quintic function, the work reveals a “structured destructuring”, evoking both Mondrian and Picasso.
Seemingly regular forms metamorphose over time, creating a landscape where human intervention meets organic dynamics. Every part of this geometric landscape seems alive, oscillating between order and emergence in a perpetual dance that endlessly reinvents space.
Beneath every smooth landscape lies a grid, which nature takes care to erase at every seam. Here, the stitching has been undone by an almost imperceptible gesture: the grid rises to the surface, and the earth fractures into facets.
